No mention of mileage, engine or tranny condition, airbags, or any running gear at all. For that price I would expect a fully rebuilt drive train.

I wanna touch it.
I wanna open the engine hatch, I wanna climb under it and look at the frame and fuel lines, I wanna know if the engine and or transmission have been replaced or serviced, I wanna see the radiator, I wanna see the bags, I wanna see the maintenance records, I wanna see if the windshields have the white ring around them, and I wanna know why the ad says the cabinets were replaced but the original particle board around the fridge, head, hanging locker...... still remains. They certainly do not match the new wood.
Sounds a little to good to be true.
Ad doesn't mention why it is being sold either.

For me to even remotely consider it, it would have to have all of the
modern "fads": 1-Ton, reaction arms, Manny tranny, EFI, aluminum radiator,
and every other buzz word I could think of. (Especially since I've
already got most of them.) :-)

Makes me think that my '73 Sequoia for $16K is a good buy. Yes, I'm too old to continue. New Manny tranny, complete rebuild per Mondello specs on 455, new wooden floor, new gas senders, cracked or fogged windshields, paint OK but could use new, new airbags, has 64K on speedo that is accurate, new brake lines, new body/frame pads, brakes gone through at about 62K, needs refrigerator, AC works but is sad like all '73-'74, new Carter gas pump, new alternator, new belts and all hoses. There's more, but I'm trying to get a list together. I paid $8K for it in 2003 and have more than $25K total into it.
