Anyone running an Atwood HE-0601 out there? I'm giving up on the Norcold
8336.

Thanks,

I have no personal experience, but there is an evaluation report on the Atwood vs. a comparable Dometic model here: rvrefrigeration.com/wp-content/uploads/Evaluation-Report-rev4.pdf.
One thing noted in the report: the Atwood does not restart automatically after a power failure. I think that wold be a deal-killer for me.

Afternoon Steve,

I talked with Jeff at Atwood, asked him that question. They may look into
that next iteration.

If running on AC and you get a power interruption (short, someone trips over
the wire, power outage it goes to propane. If you want AC back you have to
turn off, then turn on the unit.

In all the years I have used the GMC we have never run DC, and maybe AC
once.

That was a great catch and led me to a great site!

I'm thinking it is not an issue but I'll discuss with the CFO.

Thanks!

Len and Pat
