Hi bob,
One thing I suggest is you lay out and measure what you plan to carry under the bed before you start. That will help you decide the configuration of doors, bed lift, height, etc. in our Royale the rear lounge makes into a larger than king size bed but the under bed height is fixed by the height of the seat cushions on either side so we had to rig external carriers for most of our carry gear.
In our Clasco the Clasco rear bed conversion established all the relevant parameters and was very nicely done, but did not quite allow our two Brompton folding bikes to fit. I modified the Clasco design by raising the bed platform about two to three inches which did allow both Bromptons to fit in the center section along with a folding table, the two helmets and front luggage to fit on one side and four folding chairs and 20 two by two foot carpet squares for the patio to fit on the other side. None of these would have fit at the stock Clasco bed height so that extra two to three inches really made a big difference.

Thanks Dan,
I figured that something like that would be the first step.
After a bit of googling, I found this set of pictureshttp://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g3823-rear-bedroom-remodel.html . Unfortunately, I don't know
who the Larry is that posted them! It is a beautiful piece of work. Larry if you are out there, I'd love to talk with you!
Bob
