Hi Gary,
We have room for most of you sane folks in So. Oregon. Just don't go north of where we are. How can a govment agency parse such a difference when no one there knows the difference one from another if you drove through the door????? Tell them you are a pickup with a big bed cover and you will likely find someone who will believe you. For me, So. Or. works just fine (very big grin). Don't ask me about my running gun battle with CARB way back in the early 1970s. Ended when the then head of CARB told me in an open meeting that they had more lawyers than I did and would out wait me if I tried to enforce the law.........Nice bureaucrat. Good retirement benefits. Bad public policy all at the same time.......Hello America, how are you. Good song. Too bad it was so accurate.

I called the California Air Resources Board and spoke to Antonio Martino, Aftermarket Parts Manager (626) 575-6848, email amartonio@arb.ca.gov and asked if the MSD system was approved for use on GMC motorhomes. The answer was NO. The Carb Executive Order D-722 only exempts 1987 and older model year General Motors passenger car and pickups with gasoline engine and orginally equipped with a carburetor.
