OK, I've about got myself talked into tackling the fuel lines...just have to do it when it is cool in the mornings..lol..Will be dropping the tanks in order to do it right and need to know where everyone got the correct parts for the fuel filler line and fuel filler pipe to tank hoses. One of the hoses from the fuel filler pipe is a tee and the rear/main tank has an elbow that attaches. Mine is the older style with the elbow being 2 different sizes on the ends. Some said earlier you have to cut a piece of hose to place on the tank and then put the elbow over that in order to get it to fit as that elbow only comes in the same size on each end now. What size are the tees and elbows? PO used some hose on the rear tank that had wire in it and tried to bend for the curve but I think it is collapsed due to the small space. Anyone found these parts locally? When dropping the tanks to replace all the hoses I suspect you unbolt the tank at the front (while supported by straps or a jack) then loosen rear and lower at an angle in order to get to the hoses or do you have to completely remove the tanks? Also any part number for the tank selector on the frame in case I need to replace it? Also if I replace the fuel line on top of the tanks with steel what size tubing did others use and did you just connect it to the tank fittings and fuel tank selector using a small piece of rubber fuel line with clamps? Is the fuel line 3/8 from the tanks to the fuel selector and then 3/8 from there to the metal line at the front and then from metal line to engine fuel pump? What about the fuel line to the generator, looks like 1/4 in the generator compartment, does that come off the rear tank 1/4 or 3/8 to the connector in the generator compartment and then 1/4 to the generator fuel pump (these sizes are all inside hose sizes)? Thanks for all your help and I'm only requesting this info so I can get it all in one place as I've read so much and have had replies from some of you guys but now the clock is ticking and I'm about done working on wiring issues..lol...
