Does any one have a photo of that fake hookup pedestal that someone posted a few years back?

I may be ignorant, but what is the point of the fake hookup? Was it a fake you encountered at a campsite, or is it a humorous decoration?

I am leaning towards the latter the longer I think about it, that would be pretty funny if someone walked up wanting to know how you had a hookup.

Seeing that makes me want to tailgate. I suppose it would also be a great hoot at camp wallmart. A similar item could be made to clamp onto a light standard or guard post.

Where do you haul all that in your GMC and do you carry a bag of sand to pour around it? I'd put a tee on the water spigot and a cable tv hookup.. I wonder how many other campers ask about sharing? lol Glenn

Chris wouldn't need the sand in Arizona.

Since we are running off with our imaginations here:

Set it up with some backfeed water and then make a drip at the faucet.

It sure is not a GMCMH item given the space it would take up to haul it around. But given the right situation it could be worth it, Setting it up at Camp Walmart keeps coming to mind. <GRIN>

Hey I might have room in the toad!

It would have to be set up at night, so as to not blow the cover.

Leave it in place, but be close with video. Wait until someone is just connecting and walk up to pick it up, and video the look in his face.

Candid camera style.

so it's lit at night Cool

5150 is cop talk for crazy person.

Back feeding to drip is what I would do. We discussed this somewhere before, maybe here.
