John,

I think you are in Belleville, Michigan. Lots of folks there who can help.

Good luck with your repairs.

Where you at? I94 in front of camping world. In rogers, Mn?

612-961-4196. I live about 45 minutes north. What direction you going?

If you Are in mn. Dont go to that camping world for repair.

There is a Napa warehouse close to Matt that he has mentioned using but it is probably closed now. You are real close to an O'Reilly's that, I believe is open until 10pm. The first exit past Camping World is Belleville Rd. Go north on that exit and past Walmart. O'Reilly's is a little further north just before Tyler Rd.

If you need anything and can't get ahold of Matt, give me a shout, I'm on the
Black list. I'm maybe 18 miles southeast of you in Woodhaven, at mile marker 30.2 on I-75. If you get it running and need a place to check things out more, I've got an indoor spot.

Edit: guess I didn't read all the posts before posting the above. Should have known Matt would be on it quick.

Great to hear Matt was there. What a great GMCer. I don't think anything anywhere is like the helpfulness on this forum. Two stranded GMC's today responded to and back on the road for little money. Children safe, family safe.

Can't buy this kind of help, cheaply anyhow. Thanks to all for being a great community. Special thanks to those who are the unsung heroes who nevertheless get the brickbats slung in their direction despite their efforts over the years. You all want to live in a small world, where friends abound. You are making it happen.

Best,

Carey from Ennis, Texas 78 Royale, 500 Cadillac, Rance Baxter EFI.
