I have 4 new stock wheel cyls and carbon metallic shoes, calipers, carbon metallic pads, all new hoses, reman stock MC, and Jim Ks reaction arms for drum brakes. I had very good brakes. I just added a sensitized booster from Dave Lenzi. I now have excellent brakes and easy to push. No swoosh when applied as other boosters I have used. The pedal is firm but easy to push, like a big car. It also has dual ports for installing an emergency vacuum pump, guess that might be next. I may have to get Ken H elec wiper set up so I can have somewhere to mount the pump. Seems every time I do one thing 2 more pop up...

That's why you should never fix leaks, quiet rattles, or...........

Zeb Frady was concerned about the spacers used to clear the backing plate on the spindle. His fear is/was this removes too much support under the inner bearing, and might have helped my wheel come off. I don't agree with him, particularly after speakng with Tom Pryor, whose experience and expertise in the field is quite deep. The nut locking plate should give a better hold than a cotter pin, and it uses the same tab in the same slot in the spindle as the original. Further, Frady said the plate was ground off by the bearing race grinding it. I'm keeping the system, and the coach stops nicely now.

This made me giggle.....
Last fall, after I had though I had put the coach to bed for the winter, I had to get it out and drive somewhere (the reason escapes me at the moment) and it was SO QUIET..
Then I realized that there were no:
Pots and pans,
Canned foods, or
Bicycles..... onboard.
