Anyone remove the bath and make it larger? [message #252721]

Wondering about enlarging the bathroom? Or redoing the floorplan in a variety of ways? Anyone done this?

I read where someone had moved the Fridge to the other side of the coach and was able to enlarge the bath that way. I guess you could take that wall out and put a shower there by moving the plumbing in that direction and the floor drain to the shower which would leave the toilet where it is and enabling you to get rid of the pan. Would make it larger and you could still leave the wall by the entryway there and use the vent above by changing it to a powered vent. The PO called the vent that is in this bathroom a Fart Fan..lol

Something like that was done on a long stretched GMC. I believe it was done by Ron Tase. He later sold the coach to someone else. There are probably pictures somewhere on the net.

We're in the process of redoing the entire interior of our Canyonlands including redoing the entire bath. We we finish, hopefully soon I will try to get some pics on here and give a run down of how we did it. We do not have a 26' and so it has been a bit of a challenge but it is coming together.
