Sorry everyone, was just getting ready to close the laptop for the night when the wife asked me about this.

All of my Alcoa wheels have notches I, II, III,IIII, etc under one of the lugnuts on each wheel.

The hubs that these wheels were removed from have the same corresponding notches.

It is as if they are numbered, 1 notch on hub = 1 notch on wheel, etc.

Is there a reason for this?
