Was wondering if me and my wife might possibly be the youngest owners of a GMC Motorhome?

I am 34, born April 1980 in South Weymouth Massachusetts, My wife, Tina is 29 born February 1985 in Everett Washington.

Just curious..... may have to call Guiness....

Well, it has been several years -- but the youngest owners I have met were 22. The wife's parents had owned a GMC and she started driving it at 16.

Well, in my mind I am 28. Does that count?

Actually you were born the year that I graduated from high school so... you're at least younger than me.

I wish that I was in Arlington in a couple of weeks! I've always had a great time at the EAA fly-in.

We may be young, but we both hate Facebook.

I don't need everybody to know what I am doing, and I could certainly care less about what everyone else is doing.

You could apply the same thought to a forum such as this one...... the biggest difference is that here I will learn something, and may be able to pass on some of what I have learned to someone else, Facebook doesn't work that way.

Wonder if she is in her 30's yet?? LOL

My wife and I are in our 30's. There is a growing group of us "youngsters" who are discovering the pure awesomeness that is owning a classic rv. The best part is actually hanging out with the "old people" and learning everything there is to know about these beauties. And also GMC people (young and old) are just awesome to hang out with.

Nice to see another New Englander with a GMC (I was born in Rhode Island) but of course married a Virginia girl so you of all people should know how that works. Wink

I think I was 30 once.

It was about the time the GMC motorhome first came out so I do not remember much.

I bought mine seven years ago when I was 28 and my wife 26. We are obviously still in our thirties.

My wife just turned 30, and she bought me the GMC as a wedding gift almost 3 years ago.
I however am not in my 30's.

I'm 38. My wife's is 37 (the same age as our '76 Birchaven).

Despite the similar vintage, one requires much less maintenance than the other. :-)

Yes, GMC did a great job of minimizing the maintenance needs.

Great to see so many young folks with the GMC bug. It takes a special
breed, but, oh, what a great group of people. Congratulations to all.
Start making those unforgettable memories and see the great places in this
world that many don't even know exist. You won't regret it.

My wife and I are in our 30's and are down in Texas. I broke my leg earlier
this year so Harvey the RV has been put on hold until the cast comes off.
Our hope is to make rally in the Fall or Spring. I have a new exhaust system
sitting in the garage waiting to get put on. :)
