Greetings to all:
I subscribed to the group a while back and have greatly enjoyed reading all of your posts. It is providing a great “base” for the understanding my future GMC.

I have been looking for a while for a unit to purchase, and wanted to reach out to the group for help with possible leads. I would love to be able to afford a complete new restoration by Cinnabar (or similar), but will most likely need to buy such a unit that was restored a few years ago. My ideal unit would be a recently restored 23 foot unit with a dry side bath, though would also consider a 26 foot dry bath as well. I have researched and found quite a few sites that I regularly (i.e. almost daily) monitor, though all suggestions for great sites will be appreciated. Today it occurred to me that many of the best units probably never even reach these sites, so am looking to the community to help me locate my GMC. I realize “restored” means many things to many people. My goal here is to have something modernized and pretty darn reliable, as after a few dry runs of increasing length, I want to use it to travel the US for a year or so, while doing research for a new book.

I’ve always loved these motorhomes since they first came out, and am now at a place in life where it is feasible for me to finally own a nice one.
Thank you to all who might be able to provide leads! My timeframe is somewhat flexible, so I am willing to wait a while for the right unit to show up. While finding one close to Ca would be great, I would be willing to travel for the right unit.
Regards and thanks to all for your consideration and leads.
