I found some doors for my '29 dodge. trouble is they are in Pennsylvania and I'm in Minnesota.
They're not as heavy as modern doors but big and bulky and seem too much for UPS.
They are also really hard to find!
I'm about to drive out there and pick them up...
How would you guys ship a couple of extremely hard to find car doors about 900 miles?
Thanks!

If they can be boxed, Greyhound is the way to go. about 50% of UPS.
You could also have them palletized and ship them LTL.
Call freightquote.com 1800-freightquote and ask for extension 1510, Leslie Lemons. She will hook you up. I have shipped seats, transmissions, machinery, househlold crap. Best rates.
Tell her Chris from IFS sent you.

Nice thing about FedEx is you get constant updates as the shipment progresses. I use it to ship heavy items (I think the max is 150 lbs) and have had perfect success.
One thing to keep in mind is it is much cheaper to ship to a business than to a residence. If you or a friend has a business address, have it delivered there.
