I had coordinated with David Gourdine for him to drop off a rear dinette at the house on the way from FL to pick up a couple of GMCs in Aberdeen, MS last weekend.

When he didn't appear or answer my last couple of email notes to him, I figured I had ticked him off or something.

Today an old Jeep with a towbar on the front bumper and Palm Beach rear dinette seats tied to the roof pulled up in my driveway. He wasn't ticked off, just running a week behind.

I feel guilty about taking him so far out of his way (over 20 miles) and gabbing for so long when he is trying to get to Aberdeen and get two GMCs moved sooner rather than later.

But what a great visit! Stories of rescuing GMCs and a dinette. The best Sunday in decades.

Mark. No worries. It was great to put a name to a face. Made it to Mississippi and got working on the units here but ran into a starter issue that I had to wait till this morning to deal with. Should be rolling east by noon as long as I don't get to much interference from the ticks, snacks and Mosquitos.
Thanx. David

David,

You are one of our heroes, for sure, but I can't resist the following. "Watch out David, some of those snacks in Mississippi are poisonous." Take it either way. I don't trust the pork rinds.
