My LED taillights work just fine with the installed flasher. No change was needed. I believe that it really depends upon the LEDs you replaced the OEM bulb with. Front filament bulbs should provide enough resistance to operate the flasher.
If I change the flasher, it will be to get a louder one.

I didn't see it mentioned - but keep in mind you may have issues with your cruise control, if your brake lights are changed to LED.
I added a resistor near the brake pedal to fix the issue.

This depends on whether you have a single or a dual flasher coach. Some people may also have installed a HD flasher in place of a load sensing flasher.

You can have the one I took out - continuous high pitched whine/buzz/shreik while turn signals are activated. Hard to believe as this was a Florida coach and they have the "eventual left" law: "you may leave the left turn signal on so long as you plan on making a left turn sometime that day...".

I've looked at pictures of the rally attendees and I'm likely towards the young end of the average!
But having said that - a non-functioning cruise control can't be considered much more than an "issue", can it?!?

There are 2 different flasher configurations in GMC motorhomes. Early coaches had one flasher for both 4 way and turn signal use. Those flashers will flash any number of bulbs regardless of what they are. NHTSA in the later part of the 70's required a driver indication if any turn signal bulbs were burned out. So the industry went to 2 separate flashers--one for 4 way and another for turn signals. Later GMC's had 2 flashers and LED bulbs may upset the current sensing flasher. However, over the years many people have replaced the turn signal flasher with so called heavy duty flashers that have no current sensing ability. So the bottom line is that the use of led bulbs in early, late or modified coaches will have very different results.

Unfortunately, this conversion removes the OEM tail light lense lens. It is replaced by a stainless steel plate and seal. The plate has a hole in the center where the LED light mounts. Maybe the fix for this would be to put the reflective tape on one side of the plate.
This is not my conversion. I just sort of inherited the blinker issue. Personally, I like the traditional red and white lens. I just would like them brighter.
