Mitch,
> If you guys know someone that is looking - please pass it along.
I am looking. I asked a friend living in the Seattle area to look at
your bus. He looked at the pics and realized it was like a vehicle that
a friend of his bought last year with my friends money, and had been
paying back monthly. I said: Cool, why don't you two go and look at it
together. Unfortunately, when my friend called his friend he learned
that his friend has died that day in the hospital where he was rushed
into the day before. :( Died before hitting 50 :( So now there is wip
GMC sitting somewhere in Seattle that needs a new home. I am still
waiting for pics and more details, but won't have them before next week.
If price and quality doesn't fit, I am still interested, but didn't want
to come forward before being sure of the other.

MAKE IT STOP!!
Now I'm getting some guy from Ladonia, Texas who claims he wants to buy it for himself in Calfornia, U.S.A. - but will use a shipping company.
I just asked him for proof of identity. Let's see how long that will take.

I am looking, and its just the opposite, I found one locally but the owner
wont respond to inquires about it even after advertising it on craigslist.
Let me know more about yours off the GMCnet, as not to disturb their
bandwith with something like a personal purchase. Ill think its a fly in
and drive home deal. :)

Mitch, I feel your pain. I add something like this to everything I sell on the net:

I may have to add those lines if this continues. It's been something like eight hours and Ladonia has been quiet.
I suspect my mentioning a little Texas town of less than 15K population might have set him back.
I'm not going to tell them you can punch telephone numbers into Google.

Hey list,
I've made Mitch an offer he couldn't refuse :)
I'll fly over to Seattle on Thursday to exchange USDs for the GMC. My
family and I are already very excited. I'll drive 'the beast' the coming
week from Seattle to VA to store it at a friends place til summer when
the family and I will use it.
Thanks to Mitch for the open and helpful conversation, as well as to the
list for bearing with my never ending questions as well. Now off to pack
some bags...

Thanks for the link. When SWMBO, kids and I come in July we will surely
check that site out. The car will most probably be parked in Farmville,
which I find kinda amusing, giving that a computer game of that name
exists, iirc.

Life is too short not to take risks. The biggest adventure will be to
sustain the initial SWMBO reaction when she sees it in person

Didn't one have a saying in every other msg: FREE WIFI AT MCD... I am
counting on it, and yes, I plan on documenting the trip with pics

I travelled about 500 miles to pick up my coach and was worried about the WAF most of the way home...
When I got home - she was quite happy with it and I've been doing my best to adjust it to her liking! It's just got better and better over the last few months!
So - I'm sure it will work out!

Well this may come as a surprise, but I found a buyer for the beast.
I'm hoping Peer and his family can put lots of miles on the rig.
Meanwhile I'll do what I can to have it ready for him.
For everyone else - you've been a world of support, and I thank all of you.
Now I'll go back to the smaller project and finsh installing a new interior on the Spitfire.
Thanks all!
