We recently bought 7 aluminum wheels from Applied with the stainless nuts and caps. The spare is held on by 3 of the stainless nuts and we don't plan on covering the spare although that probably doesn't have anything to do with theft protection. We're looking for a way to lock the spare. McGard makes chrome locks like these:

http://www.amazon.com/McGard-74041-Chrome-Trailer-Thread/dp/B00144CSR4/ref=lp_15706751_1_8?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1400615772&sr=1-8

At http://shop.mcgard.com/ there is a search for the right version but we don't know what thread size or seat/style the GMC OEM lugs are.

Anyone use these or can advise on the thread size and style we'd need? Or is there a better idea? Anything available in stainless?

Thanks!
