Hi All,
Monsoon season here in Minnesota has prompted me to look for suggestions on finding and resolving water leaks in the coach. Particularly at the entrance door that has a pretty steady stream running through the top of the door (I know re-curving the door will help, I'm just worried about damaging the window), and also some random leaks on a couple of the windows and a few spots where the water is just running down the walls.

Leaks are a constant project it seems, and they don't always start where you might think, so you have to be a detective.
As far as the door, I think the easiest solution is to purchase the little 'eyebrow' that fits over the door to divert any rain away from the top of the door. JimK has them on his website.

I still think you should recurve the door to really fix it. Plenty of info exists and even though it seems extreme, the results have been good.

Bob,
I'm definitely going to do the re-curving, there is a noticeable gap at the top and bottom; and I've had my eye on that rain shield, I know it will work better than the piece of aluminum that the PO stuck above the door.

What's interesting about all of this is that I apparently have the rain shield--I always assumed it was OEM but apparently not. Also, I see that I need to recurve my door one of these days even though my coach doesn't seem to suffer from middle age spread. I just don't like to see the gaps.

how are your hinge bushings? mine are shot, and there is some gaps on the door. I am hoping to replace the bushings to see how the door fits. I have new bushings in hand, just need to get around to buying the hinge tool to pull the pins.

Just recurved my door during door overhaul. Just slam it !
Iff you worry about the window then this is your chance to reseal it. Just take it and put a new seal behind it and then you are sure that wont let the water through
But of course be sure of the hinges firsht, make sure the door is square in the hole and lined op with the strikerplate
I am still fighting a leak in th e rear that was real bad on the paarking lot but is not leaking where the coach is now. Not easy to find a leak that is not leaking

my original are plastic, and you can tell most are gone/shot. I can tell by looking at the hinge that the door is not square to the hole.

I grabbed some bushings from Jim when I was in orlando in january. I think similar bushings can be found in the help isle.

Slight hijack here, but what is the name of that campground across the river from Laughlin, Bob? It looks like a nice place and I would like to look up the details.

Carl, I'm at work right now but it is Davis Dam County park and you can probably find it under Bullhead City AZ somewhere on Google. It's great parking right on the river and I recall it is about $17 with no hookups. The hook-up sites are not on the water and not very nice. You can walk over the bridge to Laughlin. Those river front sites can not be reserved and are usually packed on weekends but if you can arrive during the week you will be fine.

We plan to take the GMC up there sometime. The last time we were in Laughlin was before we got the coach. It looks like a great weekend trip, as long as we could get there by Thursday evening.

I think you will like it. Since I posted those pictures, they changed the camping spots so that you can't pull right up to the water. You have to parallel park in front of the spot--not quite as nice but still OK--I guess they were worried about erosion of the waterfront.

Many thanks to everyone who responded to my water leaks post. I had
forgotten about the squirrel cage fan & soap trick. I have procured a fan
and will be fitting it to the coach. Yes my coach is gutted and I have used
the water hose on the roof method. This has revealed several leaks.
Hopefully the fan will reveal the ones that let water run along the
aluminum frame channels at the belt line and roof line levels
