Pull the round plug out at the back left just under the lid/seat to access the 1/2 brass nut at the floor. This plug isn't directly above the brass hold down nut. The nut is a little to the right. A small flashlight is needed to see the nut. You'll need a 12 inch extension to reach it. To get to the front nut. Put something in the toilet to hold the gate valve open. This keeps the pedal in the down position to make it easier to see, and remove the front brass nut with an open end/box end wrench. With the toilet loose. Disconnect the water supply. This is made easier with the toilet loose from the floor. The toilet will then lift right out. It shouldn't be glued down. Jim K has the foam rubber seal for about $5. Thanks to Jonathan Roche for the photo's. And Emery Stora ( PREZ of GMCMI ) for the neat idea on holding the pedal down.Bob Dunahugh Member GMCMI78 Royale
