For those with licenses, Field Day is a great excuse to deploy your GMC and field test your radio gear. Impress your club, operate with air conditioning, cold adult beverages, and your very own potty. Oh, yeah, you can also nap.

Always wanted to do that. Sometimes I think ham radio might actually be a very valuable skill should something really off the charts occur. First license 1958. I was 11.
