The annual Miller Family Work Rally in Hamilton Ohio is May 31st. That puts it the first weekend after Memorial Day.

If you don’t know about it, first figure out if you are in striking range. Hamilton is between Dayton and Cincinnati. This is a No membership - No nametag rally, but you have to at least have interest in a TZE. We ask that you do contribute to the food fund. (The Miller’s front this our of pocket.) If you are not an FMCA member, you are advised at this point that we can only include you for a single event. This is their rule, not ours and the insurance that we get through them is the only way we can put this event together.

If you have something to do and you are not hot to tackle it alone, this is your chance. We will have lots of people there that have done lots of things before to look over your shoulder and provide helpful advice. There is VERY limited support for overnight there (like a few may get 15amp power), and you had best bring all the tools and parts you expect to need. There are local auto supplies, but I don’t count on anything anymore. We have seen a lot done there, but it is a ONE DAY event. And it is in a barn that we get to borrow one day a year. That means really major projects are not encouraged.

The add-on event for non-wrenchers this year is going to be interesting. There is a huge specialty market and one (the original) is in Hamilton only about ten miles from the Millers. We are expecting to provide conveyance to/from, but what you buy is up to you. You remember that bottle/can of something you bought once and haven’t seen again? You can probably get it there. It may not be cheap, but the selection is awesome - in the true sense of the word.

The registration form is in the GMCES March news letter. If you are not a member, send me an @ddress and I will forward a copy. If you are not registered in advance, we cannot promise that you will get pit time and maybe not working room.
