I think my 6,000 watt Onan has the wrong Champion plugs in it. But I'm not sure. And the plug number that the Onan dealer gave me had the tapered sealing surface. Not the metal ring. I do know that years ago. Onan changed the plug heat range for these to a hotter plug to reduce carbon build up. Bob Dunahugh GMCMI Member78 Royale

Bob,
I have assembled a “Spark Plug Application Guide ( last updated 09/28/13 ). Onan spark plugs start at the bottom of page 1 and go on to page 2.

Thanks Rob, and John. I'm just not with it right now. Below will explain why.

Thanks Rob. WOW. That was dumb on my part. For some dumb reason I didn't go there. I've been trying to keep very busy the last 2 days. Our daughter is a veterinarian. And she told us that our Bichon ( White dog ) Brandy has lung cancer. She goes with me everywhere, and GMC Rally's. She's very good at finding sprinkler heads, and leaks in irrigation systems that I service. She's so good at her job. That I think that this will be my last year to do that. Plus she helps Linda with her wheelchair. Thanks again. Bob
