Yahoo must be the most screwed up internet service on the planet. They
have just instituted a new email anti-spamming protocol that breaks email
listserve delivery to yahoo.com addresses. Effective immediately, we will
no longer be able to support delivery to yahoo.com email addresses. If in
the future, Yahoo gets their act together(not holding my breath), we'll
revisit this policy.

Not to be a chauvinist pig, but didn't they recently hire a new CEO who was
supposed to be Hell on Wheels ? I think the plan was to make Yahoo a
'playa' with Google.

My guess is that she failed !

It's been screwed up so long that it's probably not fixable. The problem
goes beyond just yahoo with this screw-up. I've set all yahoo posts to go
to moderation. They will be rejected with an explanation.

After reading that article, it looks like users of other email providers (other than Yahoo) might also soon have the same problem. The kid next door just stopped by. He is home visiting his parents. He works for Google in Mountain View, CA. He said they are looking at something similar. I did not understand fully what he was said they were working on.

Patrick,

We do appreciate what you do for us.

I have had this issue for some time. It is the result of getting the digest sent to my yahoo box to keep it there in the event I need it. Then it stopped and I found it all parked in the spam box. No amount of telling them it wasn't spam could fix it. So, I dropped reading my Yahoo @ddress. Yahoo in the mode described by Jonathan Swift.

Maybe those using a yahoo.com email address could set up a gmail.com address, use that, and set their gmail.com account to automatically forward to their yahoo.com account.

Or just drop their yahoo.com account, I suppose.

I'm SO glad I get to run my own email server (tied to my bicycle business). That way I get to make all the bonehead decisions!
