The striker doesn't fit threaded holes in the body. There are two steel plates with two threaded holes, one above the other, behind the door frame. This can be moved up and down. Be careful when removing the bolts as the plate can drop down and be difficult to retrieve. Loosen the bolts and take out one and file the door frame (ovalize it) so you can move the plate either up or down. Then reinsert the bolt and remove the other and repeat. Do this for the other plate as well. Now you can move the striker plate either up or down to align it.
