In the next 2 months I am converting all of my units to 16" wheels and tires. From what Ive seen regarding the Southwest 16' steel is that with some grinding that they will work on the front over the calipers. Since I am buying 120 the price comes down to $42.71. I asked what the price would be if I bought over 250+ since their discount tier for 25% off list was 50-250 units. I am waiting to hear back but he gave me the impression they might drop another %5. I would need another 130 wheels to hit that tier. Is anybody out there considering replacing theirs in the next couple months that would like to get their order in at my pricing of $43? Shipping would be $6.00 each to Florida. I will be heading west June 25 traveling 75N to I10W to Pheonix and then north thru Vegas up to the ranch. I also am going to grab a bearing machine from Phil Swanson in San Diego shortly after and grabing another unit in LA taking the I5 to Sacramento then I80E back to Gerlach. I will be putting the order in by May 1st for the 130 wheels so if any one wants to jump in that order send me a PM. Next Im looking for the least expensive tire I can find in bulk if one has any any ideas Id love to hear them

KB once i have to not agree with the tire choice you have in this case. the cheapest one is less noise, and easier on the front end.
david's use is for the playa and the less tread the less dust as well. but i bought the off road tire for my van i drive and they are louder
for sure and my mechanic states if you are on the highway they are harder on the frame and entropy of the vehicle.
not a big thing, but 130 times 12 is $1560.
mickey with very warm regards to the greatest here.

Mickey,
You are welcome to disagree with me and you may well be correct.
I recommended the second one because that is what I have on my coach. Rob also has them on his coach. We love them. Noise is not an issue as I can not hear. Neither my wife or Rob has complained about the sound so I have to assume that they are quiet.
I did not consider it stirring up more dust. I thought the off road tread might be a better solution but I now see where that might be a problem.
As for the cheaper one, I can not recommend it because I know nothing about it. You may be entirely correct that it is fine. I can only recommend what I know about. On the others I just keep quiet.

David,
Last year I bought Cooper tires from Discount tire $97 each.
Last week (different coach) I bought MileStar tires from Discount $104 each.
With your volume I'll bet you can do far better than that.
Check out buying from a no sales tax state (Oregon) and have delivered to your location.
Might work with Discount Direct.
