Brian,

I have never seen them available new. I'm thinking you will need to find them off of a junk GMC. You might call Jim B. and Jim K. to see if they have them or f they have a lead on who has recently taken a coach apart.

BTW. I never sent you a note. I got your package in the mail over a month ago.

The cockpit window latches look like this...

They are the same as the rear window latches...

I would think you could make one from a sliding screen door handle (small).

Someone answer this for me. Is the latch on the toll booth windows and the latch on the big slider windows the same type on a 1973 coach?

If so, someone with an early coach might have the parts you want if they have replaced their windows with CR Lawrence ones.

Yes, on a 73, the cockpit and all other windows have the same latch. The catch attached to the frame is different.

I found my latches. Now I just need to figure out how they mounted in the
vent window. The vent window has 2 holes. Were they just glue'd in? or was
there a bracket on the outside?

Neither.

They had a plastic "nut" on outside.

Here is the modern replacement:

Brian, I used well nuts to replace my fasteners for the window catch.

Mcmaster-Carr web site

*Rubber-Insulated Rivet Nuts*

Your fastener sets the insert as you screw it into thin and brittle
materials -- no special tools needed.

Rubber-insulated brass nuts, also known as well nuts, seal out moisture and
reduce vibration.

Home depot and Lowes also carry the well nuts so you don't have to buy the
lot of 25.
Use a stainless flat head 6-32 screw to fasten latch to well nut.
