Engine Labs has published a story on the various new EFI systems on the market:

Interesting stuff.

You will need more than 1000 cfm to support 1200 hp like the claim from the E-Z system.

Don't think I can get 1200 hp out of my 455 so it's a non issue for me.

You only need about 450 cfm to feed the 455 unless you have built more than 300 hp and plan to actually use that amount. So any of those systems is more than we need.

You're welcome Carl. Yes, it's a cool site. Lots of good information on there.

The EBL system does most of the self tuning.
That is why most of our customers are seeing 1.5 - 2.5 mpg increase.
Nice thing about the system is parts are readily available at your local parts store.
All the other kits cannot match the popularity of the GM system.

So, turning 3500 RPM - which sounds about as busy as I want mine to get - you'd be running pretty much 455CFM.
