Rob, Emery, Gene and others,

There is no way on earth this 3500 offset dually wheel will work with my calipers. No amount of grinding will make it work. I surrendered this afternoon and will take a picture tomorrow. Alcoa spare will solve the problem.

Emery,

Bob Dunahugh posted some pictures showing that he ground a bit off the mounting ears. I looked at the pictures and in my OPINION the
amount of material he removed and the location from which he removed it did not compromise the mount strength one iota.

HOWEVER, I suggested to him that he takes some additional photos with an unmodified caliper and a modified caliper side by side so
that would be glaringly apparent lest one of the know it alls that have joined us of late would bash him for grinding material away
on the mounting tabs.

He's noted that he intends to do that as soon as he can.

Regards,
Rob M.

Someone had posted that they were able to grind a small amount from their 80 mm calipers to make them work. Anyone have specific
information on that?
