I just picked up a 76 Palm Beach in north Florida that hasnt been started in over 9 years. Managed to get her running on a jump tank had to tap the carb a couple times to unstick the float. Put some new tires on her and changed the oil and she ran great with no problems at all. With the 9 Gallon jump tank I was getting 100 miles to the tank which put her at around 11 miles a gallon. I was feeling a vibration tho. It would go back and forth. Id feel it for around 2 seconds in my butt on the seat and then 2 seconds at my feet on the floor. It would start around 50 thru 65. It did not get worse the faster I went but I only felt the vibrations when I was under throttle. If I back off the pedal going down a hill it would disappear. The tires I was using were all balanced but they are the same ones that I use to transport all of my coaches back to Florida so they may have gotten out of balance. I havent had any experience with bearings in these coaches or with the half axles. Anybody have any input?
Thanx. David
