Hi All,

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a good mechanic in the Dallas,
TX area? I was pointed to a couple of the RV shops on Interstate 30, but
they starred at be blankly when I told them I had a GMC.

Chris,

With respect to Dallas-area RV shops, I don't have any idea, except to say that there are a number of GMC experts in the area, and a large number of us enthusiastic newbies who would be glad to help. There is even a pit among us around here to service the things.

Let us know your main concern you would pay to have done, and maybe someone will have a party where you buy the coffes and donuts and everyone else has a ball helping fix your coach.

Best,

Carey

Thanks, Carey, I appreciate that. I would love to learn and do more of
these items myself, but my main issue is just time - I need more of it. So
far, my list includes:

1. Getting the dash heater and A/C to work properly
2. figuring out the multitude of after market gauges that were installed
and sorting out what works and what doesn't.
3. I need to install seat belts
4. Fixing/Replacing the wiper motor
5. Fixing the cruise control
6. Checking the coach over for safety related issues
7. Fixing the steering wheel/alignment?
8. Fixing the seals on two of the windows that are leaking
