[GMCnet] Leaking lines [message #245023] Tue, 25 March 2014 15:27 Go to previous message

Oh boy.  I knew I would have to replace many steel and rubber lines.

On this project vehicle.  In addition to:-

1)   Leaking fuel lines  (haven't decided)

2)   Leaking potable water lines (going with PEX).

3)   Leaking radiator lines (looking next)

There is also leaking brake lines.

So whilst I have sprayed 'Ed's Red' aka 50:50 acetone:Dexron ATF.  and am giving it time to work before I spray more.

Anyone have a list of the various lengths of brake line.  I see JEGS had my favorite Nickel-copper in various lengths.  I wouldn't mind ordering the pre-made lengths and then some 25 foot for the longer sections.  A bit less work.

Anyone have actual lengths and sizes.  Otherwise I will have to wait a few days, or until the weekend to pull them off and measure.

Thanks.
