Hi Bob

When I bought mine from Autozone many years ago they cost about $15 each caliper with no core charge.

They fit a 84 Chevrolet Truck C10 1/2 ton or a Suburban 2 WD with JB7, JD7 brake system.

Bob, if you are on the fence about doing this mod, I'll offer this: I did this mod before my last long trip, and it made a huge difference is stopping comfort. Much bigger difference than when I put larger wheel cylinders on the middle wheels, the year before. With those two changes, (and the added vacuum pump), I feel the brakes are now 'adequate', whereas before I considered them 'marginal to poor'.

All that B.S. aside about legalities, DOT certified, etc... Personally, I'd rather be able to stop.

Corley. I got parts from Jim K years ago to change the brakes. Then just got off on other issues. Now I got off my ------ to do it. The reason I asked. Is that I want to put in my loge book. What the parts came from to start with if I encounter problems on the road. Hindsight is 20/20. Maybe I should have replaced everything in the original system. As some guys find the original system fine. I never did. Somethings happened last week. So we had to cancel going to the Texas rally. So I'm finishing putting the knuckles on that I got from Dave L. Then put the rear disc brakes, and Quad bags on. Basically having some of my own tech sessions in my shop now. Bob Dunahugh.78 Royale

I thought they were from a Cadillac car.
