Having had a mount-to-outlet macerator break free just as the flow began,
the very idea of that sends chills up my spine. Admittedly the GMC's not
capable of dumping 50 gallons from 2' above that fitting as my Safari did,
but, believe me, it would NOT be a pleasant experience!

If I were tempted to use an On-and-Off macerator (I would not just because
of cleanup difficulty) I would certainly put the macerator on the ground
with a flexible coupling to the outlet fitting -- whose mounting ears ARE
NOT designed to hold the weight of a macerator.

If you really want to enjoy a macerator, go to the slight trouble of
mounting, plumbing, and wiring it properly.

What Ken said. End of 3" pipe is a bad idea.

G'day,

I agree with both you and Ken; I just posted it because someone has one and sung it's praises on the GMCnet.
