We held the annual drag race rally at the ORLANDO SPEED WORLD last night. Had 5 GMCs show up plus an owner without (being restored). Most made 3 passes down the quarter mile. Toward the end the track got a little slick, what with the big boys blowing engines and leaving parts on the track. Was a great night racing the GMC and watching others tune up for the GADOR NATIONALS this weekend. There was even a jet car making passes. Cool beans. If you weren't there you missed a great night's entertainment that you could actually be part of.

Building my own GMC Motorhome from scratch. Problem is, it's only 1/25.

Jim,

When/where do you guys post that event in advance? Is it a regular St Pattys day event or a spur of the week type thing?

Not that mine was ready to go, but maybe next year.

Did the BMW Performance Center on Thursday courtesy of a vendor, so I have been "motored up" all weekend.

The drag race rally started out as a Sunshine Statesmen rally.
This year another rally was scheduled so it turned into an unofficial gathering of fellow GMC gearheads. JimB has been making reference of it for the last 2 months on the POSE and it was also listed on the GMC Sunshine Statesmen website.

As we jokingly say on another forum that I belong to:

If there are NO pictures or video - It didn't happen. Laughing

Still hoping and more importantly praying to be able to build a garage.
