Need a part number for the thin vacuum line that goes from the intake manifold, near the distributor, to the vacuum cannister attached to the air box.
Found the answer to my previous question while changing spark plugs.

That is just plain old vacuum hose which is sold by the foot at your favorite auto parts store.

I was able to repair the melted line by putting a section of bigger line over the two ends after removing the melted ends of the line.
I also elevated and tied the vacuum line so that it cannot fall onto the intake manifold, or anywhere else for that mater.
So, I might actually have heat and defrost capability in the morning on the run to Crater of Diamonds State Park, before heading to Texas for International.
