Ok, i have been reading posts. and tire prices, and tire availability change all the time... so I will again venture and ask the question about tires....
I am in search of 4 tires for my rear. I have 16" steel rims that they will be going on. I run the dodge rims in front.. and I am not replacing those for 2 more years. So these 4 at this point will never be on the front, unless I go to the 1 ton... but I think and hope i have 20k-30k miles before I have to consider that.
Price is probably most important. but look is always right behind.
I am not traveling cross country in my GMC. I use it often in the summer, but pretty much all short trips. I change my oil once a year, and I know I do not go over miles on that.
looking at nexens that i would have to order into a walmart. they seem to be scarce around here.
hankooks have been looked at. and Kuhmo's.
We have a tire program through work, that I might work a deal on too. but still need to come up with a good tire to buy with that discount.
I do have the ability to mount and balance myself... but I would prefer to have someone else mess with that.
