Though it may physically fit, I'd be concerned about proper cooling in the enclosed compartment.
However, as almost all the other manufacturers have seemed to leave the RV market..............?

To get the power out you have this:
"Four 120 volt, 20 amp grounded receptacles, one 120 volt, 30 amp twistlock receptacle, one 120/240 volt, 30 amp grounded receptacle, one 12 volt DC cigarette lighter port"
The max power is split up (convieniently or not). The 120/240 connector is most likely an L14-30. You could wire that 'one for one' to the 14-50R in the GMC WITHOUT the L1/L2 jumper. It would be like pluging into shore power 50A but at 30A per leg. The others would then go unused. 30 + 30 = 60A x 120V = 7200Watts
I would think the stock tank is gravity feed so it would probably need some type of pump due to GMC tank height. That would have to be addressed for saftey reasons. It probably runs at 2 x the Onan speed and not sure how many hours life the thing has. Other than that it would probably work if cooled and not too noisy.

Noise would be my biggest worry
76 db according to the specs
according to the site below 70 db is annoying and 80 is a freight train at 15 metres with possible hearing damage

With the big 12 VDC fan behind the door vents I've experienced no cooling
problems with my TroyBilt.

The power arrangement is better documented on the HF than it was on the
TroyBilt; I had to figure it out with no documentation. Not a problem, but
an annoyance, and a possible show-stopper for anyone not understanding
queer electrons.
I had a lot of trouble because of the gravity feed to my TroyBilt. Never
found an electric pump that produced little enough pressure to not flood
the engine. Nor did the regulator I tried work at low enough
pressure. Finally
I bought, off of eBay, a crankcase pulsation-driven pump specifically for
small engines. That cured the flooding problem.
Then when I started trying to figure out how to rig a remote choke, I had
an idea: Only during starting, the little low pressure electric pump is
activated, providing the start enrichment needed. Works great.

Ken spent too much time around jet engines. Actually, it is that loud.
It may be very inexpensive up front, but the adaptation costs would almost negate the $$$ saved. You could always hang it on the rear bumper and run the power cord to the coach. During Katrina, I actually saw this done. Or, tow it on a small trailer.
Probably better to rehabilitate the Onan, with electronic ignition
or chase a Honda.

I've seen several at HF and TSC which would fit once you striipped the frame and tank. Theyu're often called 'Contractor generatpors' and aren't designed to be as quiet as rv units. Ken Henderson has one in his 23', iot's a nice install. I've looked at several towards the day I finally get fed up with the Junkerac. You have to decide whether yoou want to go around back and pull the rope, or spend the extra fror an electric 'self - commencer'. Usually the electric start ones get about a $100 premium, but when you look, the little engines often have the space to mount a starter and the maker has a kit. My coach had a fan mounted on the louvers of the bay door which comes on with the genset, I'd add that to any install other than a power drawer.

Keep in mind that the DB measurement is logarithmic function. Every 3DB change is TWICE as loud. That is a DB rating of 73 would be TWICE as loud as 70. Also sound level falls off at the inverse of the distance, that is 10' away is 1/10 as loud as 0'.
So what do you do for a fuel pump?

Small cautionary note:
I my career, I worked with several true genius level engineers. One of them got an idea for a muffler. He has reasoned that his lawn mower should be as quiet as if it was electric. This was a good plan but,, when we got the experiments all set up, there was a surprise.
It seems that the small engine manufacturers had long been using the exhaust to cover up the mechanical noise of the engine. We reorganized things a little so the exhaust exited a pipe into a drum full of fiberglass a length of pipe away. The blade (it was a vertical shaft rotary mower) was replaced with a round flat plate (for fly wheel replacement). The noise output only dropped 2dB.

Despite Matt's experience, the Onan muffler + the Generac resonator/spark
arrester on my Troy-Bilt quiet the B&S down enough that it's really not all
that loud inside the coach -- certainly doesn't interfere with conversation
at all, even when SHE speaks to me. Not too sure how the folks parked
right behind us would feel about us using it though.
