Just want to check to see if I got this right. I've had a leak down issue with my passenger side rear suspension quad bags. I got that leak fixed I beleive. The other issue is the paasenger side seemed to be lower than the driver side. I put the Autolevel mode on and when it shut off...the passenger side measured 33" to the rear wheel well skirt seam and the driver side measured 35"...so a difference of 2"...I read the manual and it mentioned the leveling arm adjustment nut. It said to loosen it and make the coach level..34" to the seam on both sides...which measure roughly 11 3/4" at the back slot in the main frame, then re-tighten. So my question is, did I get this right. Will this now correctly level at 34" on both sides? Seemed to be pretty straight forward to make this adjustment.

Tom,
I just checked MM X-7525, MM X-7625, and MM X-7725 and could not find any instructions to set the ride height at 34 inches as
measured to the rear wheel well skirt where did you find those instructions.
To set the ride height (front & rear) for your coach see MM X-7525 Section 4 - Rear Suspension - Page 4-34 - Figure 70 - Checking
Vehicle Ride Height.
Once you've done that you can then measure the distance from the ground to the wheel well skirt.
The reason you should use the slots in the frame first is because the height of the body varies depending on the distance the body
is off the frame. If you have old OEM crushed pads it could be a 1/4 inch off the frame; if you have new pads from the Curtis's they
are 3/4" thick.

Sorry Bob for the delay. I had measure back at the slotted hole where the manual says to. It measured roughly in the 11 3/4" range on both sides. I then measured at the center of the wheel well and verticaly at the wheel well seam. It measure 34". So I'm happy with it's height now. My question was pertaining to the level control arm back there. The manual shows to loosen the bolt so that the slotted hole on the level arm allows the level arm to move a bit, then you set the height where you want it and then re-tighten the bolt. Just wanted to know if I understood the process correctly? Not understanding how this process will set my ride height when I set it to auto??

Tom,
Got it!
Yes, you are correct loosening the bolt and moving the arm is how you adjust the rear suspension.
HOWEVER, that is a PITA! It is very hard to move it the correct amount to get the slot in the rear to the right height.
The arm is connected to the bogie by a fixed length link; it is a hell of a lot easier to adjust the rear suspension with adjustable
links:

Dave Lenzi: http://www.bdub.net/lenzi/index.html
Scroll down to "Embossed copper exhausts manifold gaskets" and you can see a picture of Dave's links. I believe they cost more
because they have a heim joint at each end. There is NO WAY I will make any comments as to which one is "better" as I have NO idea!
Plus Ken, Jim, and Dave are all close friends.

When you have the coach at the desired height via manual raise/lower control, place the selector switch in hold. Loosen the nut to let the height control lever move to its center position. Once it's settled, tighten the nut. This becomes your new auto set point. You already have your desired height set before you ever loosen the nut.

Tom,
There's a detent (spring-loaded center position) in the travel of the input
shaft of the leveling valve. When in that position, the valve neither adds
nor releases air from the air bag. When you loosen the arm bolt, set the
ride height, and re-tighten the bolt, you've adjusted the linkage to
correspond with that detent. Now, when a change in the height of the coach
moves the valve out of the detent, the valve adjusts the bag pressure to
correct the height -- after a few seconds of delay (to prevent "hunting").
