I had a ripped outer CV boot. And I had noticed that when I checked the front wheel bearings. I had some movement. Both of the upper ball joints had been replaced. So I figured that they were OK. RIGHT. And the original lower ball joints were tight. As the GMC was at 150,000 miles. So I had some knuckle housings from Dave L. So it was time to take care of all front end issues including turning the rotors. What I found out was that my original knuckles, and bearings were fine. Replaced them any way, as now they have the grease fitting. The movement that I felt was both the replacement upper ball joints. That's the problem with assumptions. So now I'm fine with the front bearings for as long as I'll drive it. And thanks for the info that was sent to me.
