I'm about to remove the upper cabinets from my 1977 Royale and am looking for some advice on the job. It looks like the fasteners must be under a trim strip behind the cabinet above the windows against the wall. If that's the case, those trim pieces were sure fastened with a LOT of staples.
Any advice on what Coachman did or a simple method of removal would be appreciated.
Thanks,Hal

Hal, I removed all of the upper cabinets out of The Pig. Iirc the false ceiling panel must be removed to access the screws and the false bottom removed to access the wiring connections for the under cabinet lighting.

Thank you Todd, that sounds like the 'logical' way they would have installed them. I don't know where I got the idea the fasteners were under that trim piece.
Thanks again,Hal

Might I suggest you cut a 2x2 or 2x4 to have nearby to prop an end or the middle of the upper to pin it against the corner for the missed hidden screw an or wire nut you missed. I had to get creative on a couple of the uppers when I discovered that there was something still left that I missed. And it only happens when you need both hands or the Makita got set down juuust out of reach.

Better yet, make and install a "dead man" support from two 2X4's attached
in a "T" which is just tall enough to wedge between the floor and the
bottoms of the cabinets. Installed before you remove any of the fasteners,
it will prevent the situations Todd mentioned.

H.F. Has a tool sold as a pick-up truck bed movable bar. Turned on end, it makes a great cabinet support. Thanking my good friend, John N for the idea. Nothing like borrowing a good idea.
