Guys,
A few posts ago about the HVAC box, there was as reference to an article about "separating hot from cold". In the article it talks about adding a diverter to improve airflow. Looking at the placement of the diverter it would seem to block nearly all the airflow to the heater core?
Has anyone done this mod that could shed some light on the install of this diverter? Will it really block the airflow to the heater core? Any pictures would be welcomed!

I thought the diverter plate was to improve the air-con cold air.
The air has to turn 90 degrees at that location to go
around the heater core and out the dash.
I don't think it will improve heating.
Maybe Kelvin has an answer.....

Is this worth doing to mine to get more warm air?

Sorry, it wont help the heat side. I don't know 73 that well, but I would look into changing to a later dash heat/ac unit, or add ac.
It must be a sweat box without AC?
