G'day,

Here is a link to the McMaster Carr catalog page that shows what I believe to be the best rivet nuts to use on a GMC.

Disregard the picture of the rivet nut to the left of the part numbers the rivet nuts you will be ordering look like the one on the
right side of this photo:

These rivet nuts "blossom" like a Molly bolt.

They are made of steel which makes the very strong but will require you make a tool like this to pull them:
