The unit we have is considered obsolete by Blue Ox and they will not talk about it, let alone work on it. So instead of putting out $1000 for a new unit, I will take this one apart. Has some one been in to one of these units?? The compressor will not shut off, no matter what pressure it is set at. Any info is appreciated.

I expect that it does. I have not yet opened the case. I would like to think that if there is a pressure switch, it can either be 'refurbished' or replaced with one from Grainger or McMaster Carr or a local source.

That is what I plan to do but it will be a few days before that gets to the top of my list. I will try to remember to take a few pictures and post the results of the surgery.

Les,

Don't just take pictures for us. Do what I do. Get in there real close so you can use the pictures as instructions as to how it goes back together when you finally get back to it.

Hi - I have finally taken the unit apart (how did a few days turn into a month) and there is a pressure switch, Hadley H15288, on the small tank, . I am not able to find info, on-off pressures, on this particular switch. I have located the company and I will send a note to customer service. In the meantime, can someone point me to information on this switch?

Thanks (listening to the rain come down - 4" since Wednesday)

Les,

Since Google never heard of it, you may have to try this:

https://www.google.com/search?q=Hadley+H15288&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS565US565&oq=Hadley+H15288&aqs=chrome..69i57.2023j0j8&sourceid=chrome& ;espv=210&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8#q=Hadley+pressure+switch&tbm=shop&spd=16975936168719488797

But I'd just use this, or similar:
