Greetings:
I am in the process of rebuilding my front clip and have started to reinstall the steering "linkage" parts.
While looking at the steering relay tie rod, it appeared to have a small "bow" downward - As if it were "compressed" down and NOT "bent" up as if something had pushed against it (like a floor jack).
I do not think this is "normal".
I have also looked in the MM and read up on how to check for rod parallelism, but unfortunately, I can not do this till AFTER I re-install everything.
Thus the question.... Is this anything I should be concerned about? - Or is it fairly normal for a vehicle of this size/weight/age?
Looking for thoughts/suggestions/insight.
Thanks for whatever you care to share.
