I've seen a few setups with wheels and they just look puny. What about mounting a big pillow block on each side of the rear frame with an axle and pipe sleeve as a roller?

The rollers my PO installed aren't very puny...

They look to be REALLY industrial, and up to any kind of abuse I'm likely to put them though.
On the down side, they hang down far enough that they drag a whole lot more than the frame would. It's not a big deal, since the ride height is set to the "around town mode" in automatic, so I have clearance for getting in and out of most driveways, etc. When I'm on the highway, I've learned to put the suspension in manual mode and hit the lower switches for 20 seconds, which puts the suspension at the right ride height for best handling. Then before I get off the highway for gas, I hit "auto" and get the back end up for more clearance.

I should mention that the rollers provide a VERY nice jacking point for raising the rear of the coach, essentially adding the height of the rollers to the amount of lift you're going to get out of your floor jack. I also use them when leveling the coach at a campsite, which normally requires only a few pieces of wood under each roller (I air down the rear to "almost level", then put the wood in place, then air it down to drop the rollers onto the wood). Much less bouncy that way...

I just raise my coach when around town and put it back on auto on the highway.
If I were going to fabricate a roller, I'd only want it to hang down a 1/4 to 1/2" below the lowest point on the back end. Any more and you're just creating more opportunities for it to drag.
