Based (once again) on gmcnet posts and comments about the RM 7720, I picked one up on Black Friday. I converted the mount to a beanbag style and have used it for a 1000 miles or so in non-GMC vehicles. I really like the user interface, though some actions (such as how to quickly mute/unmute) I've yet to figure out --I may have to break down and read the user manual one day. I also purchased a generic 7" visor and modified it so that it's possible to press the power switch, but I've not had to actually use that, though I'm sure it'll be handy in the GMC sunroom/cab. One feature I'm kind of surprised how much I like is the speed limit icon and warnings.
Anyhoo, one of the deciding factors was video input for the backup cam (or possible selector-switch multicam installation for, say, a quick peek under the chassis while rolling). I was a little concerned about how the UI would work with the cam, but put it all together on the kitchen table yesterday and it is also a nice, intuitive screen icon. Just touch the icon and it toggles from gps to the cam.
