Frustrating can't see first post, maby I screwed up . But to the chase bought one for $1000. 1977 TZE167V102169 Stripped out the interior, has 403, might do 455 or caddy. Queen back, separate shower. Replace rotted floor and cover with new skin or replace complete floor? hydronic heat?
Calgary dude on here building tower and trailer considered buying it a couple years ago and Allen something bought it and made it worse. Still put fuel and a battery and drove it Calgary to Edmonton at 55 to 70 mph.
Thanks, Bill

Bill, do you still want to trade for a 455, I need a 403 for my unit, I am pulling out the 455, which runs fine, I just prefer the 403 better

Long way to ship, you like 403 better? I thought bigger would be better?
I should stick to what I have started. Just wouldn't be any problem getting a dirty engine to the door at the moment.

Bill
Alow me to give you a advice from my experience doing Olga:
At this stage:
Take out ALL side windows and reseal them. this is very easy and nessecary as they will leak
Make sure you've got ALL leaks, it is a dragg to find your coach is leaking AFTER you did the interior
Good luck

I'm off for the next 4 days, that would be great. Going to try to get some stuff done and looking for some used interior stuff so might make a trip out to Sherwood park but think I'm going to pull up the rest of the floor, replace the 1" styrofoam floor insulation if need be and install hydronic floor heating. Engine heat, instantaneous propane hwh and probably do a 1000 watt block heater when plugged in. Want to do it without raising the floor more than an inch. Also want to get the rest of the crap pulled off the rest of the roof and taped up before snow.

So got a bit done. didn't like the frame mounts through the plywood so will be welding in tubing with frame mounts for what I feel more acceptable. Rubber cut,5/8", international company that does hose and rubber, Goodall, 10' of 3' X 10' 5/8' THICK for $55. cut it up into 6" today. Noticed COOP price today but would still have to pay shipping. Looks like I will be buying stuff from him. Fuel system, salvaged parts from airboat build. Both tanks into spin on marine filter, carter electric pump. Had problems with internal FPR with this pump like many others so I hear so added a Mallory return to tank fuel pressure regulator and that will be plumbed into the rear tank. Like return to tank FPR,cooler fuel, longer pump life. More concerned with fuel going up hill so return will go to rear tank and should be full till front tank empty. Custom dash, whack of Stewart Warner gauges laying around so engine temp, trany temp, whatever else I can dream up. Only one fuel gauge laying around so I guess I will do a switch for the two tanks just for gauge, not tank selection. Tank selection valve will go. With frame pads falling out and squished fuel hose it's amazing these things run.

Bill,
When you go to install those pads I would suggest you take the bolts out of the front and rear donuts:
