The 560 is nice. It supports woofers as well as tweeters. With the aux in
(from the back via a cable) just plug you music device into the earphone
plug. To use the phone capability (a mic is included) then sync the phone to
the radio via Bluetooth.
Unless you've done something with your speakers, it might be difficult to
make a call via Bluetooth, however. It works well in a car but, as we all
know, most cars are quieter.
Good price, too.

I don't know about this particular radio, but both models exist. I put a
Dual brand radio in our coach and it allows control from either the
smart phone (or IF you have an iPod/Phone) from the radio.
Byron,
While I agree with you about background noise in the coach,
my Dual radios noise cancelling is EXCELLENT and I can actually use the
bluetooth hands free at freeway speeds.

Rob,
It seems like the younger you are, the easier it is to operate modern electronics. I often find myself asking one of my kids how to do stuff with my smart phone and computers.
Just last week, I replaced the stereo in our coach with a nice Kenwood deck. It had AM, FM, CD, Bluetooth, USB input, 3.5 mm aux input, etc. etc. My sons will be over this evening for my birthday, and I will get them to show me how to link up my android phone with the deck so I can use Pandora for music.
By the way. I also replaced the front speakers and added two 6.5" speakers in the cockpit side panels. I got the speakers, along with some expert wiring advice, from Jim B. It sounds great. The only thing I still hvae left to do is run wires to the far rear speakers and replace those (also with new ones from Jim B).

Carl,
Don't work so hard.
Get a double ended 3.5 (1/8") stereo cable (Radio Shack 42-692) and plug it in where it fits. Also get a DC mousehole power adapter (if you don't already have one) as this trick will kill the Droid's battery in short order. Now select "Aux" on the dash.
Problem: If you are doing this and using the Droid as a hotspot at the same time, it will get confused when the phone rings.

That is another alternative Matt. I already have all the stuff to do that and just might run it that way. The bluetooth seems a little less complicated once I get it set up.

You can control from the radio if it says it is compatible with iOS. Some Sony's do. Don't know about other brands.Â

I bought my wife a Moto X for Christmas, and invited our daughter over for Christmas and to show her Mama how to work her new phone. The child wants - and I am sorting out submissions - a vinyl playing system. Go figure. She has promised to convert my vinyl library - 2-300 albums - to .wav fiklles over the next year or so,
I pulled the rear wires in the wiring chanel above the cabinets on the driver's side and then went across the front and rear caps with a snake. Amazon had some exact fit speakers with decent magnets si I used them.

I have stayed out of this thread because I don't do music or tv or videos. I never turn on the radio. I do have to continue to support it because my wife still has these bad habits.
I told JimB to just put in a couple of usb ports and leave the radio out of the new Mac dashes. I could use the space better. He had a stroke and my wife hates giving up old technology (just for nostalgic reasons, she *uses* new entertainment tech daily. I still have 8-track to cassete converters in the attic because she can't let go), so we ended up having some sort of mech-less system in the Birch and Royale. Fine. It has usb ports.
My gut call is that you guys are spending a crapload of money supporting old tech. The 2 weaknesses in my viewpoint are that [1] you need some sort of amplifier to drive a speaker system and [2] (as mentioned) if you're into audiobooks and loaner/rental media then the Cracker Barrel and local library are going to be behind the curve for a while longer.
You are all already carrying more computer firepower than you need to drive these coach systems. With a Apple TV module or the Chromecast, you could stream from you personal-device-du-jour to your coach's entertainment system. Put in a cheap dual-voltage hdmi tv and a receiver and your smartphone or tablet becomes both your server and familiar touch-controlled remote.

We have been cable free for a year (Roku) and playon/playlater software; we stream all our media. Our new LCD tv is usb capable, our 2TB hard drive containing hundreds of tv and movies plugs right in, fits in my pocket, and is powered by the USB port. As for audio iPhone/ipad holds several hundred hours of music and provides turn by turn nav, plus if we get bored can stream wth pandora like services, local library provides digital downloads for audiobooks at no charge. Head unit really doesn't need to do much, unless you are an audiophile.

Works great, electro-mechanically speaking. Absolutely works as billed. It's learning the software that's the tougher part. Converting vinyl isn't like burning CDs. You have to deal with noise, skips, etc. Stay away from it yourself. Just buy it and let her do the work.

Thanks for the wiring tip Johnny. My PO added mid cabin speakers in the bottoms of the cabinets, right and left, but just tied in the wires to the front overhead speakers. I managed to get new wires back to those through the chases so I can use the fader on the new deck. I have a plan to get the wires to the rear speakers, but just ran out of time and patience to get it done. Add in the additional PO installed insulation, and it gets difficult, at best, to snake wires back that far. At this point, I have then spliced in at the mid speakers and coiled up in the cabinets. I'll get back at it when I get a roundtuit.
