SUSPENSION AIR COMPRESSOR CIRCUIT: On the wiring diagram http://www.bdub.net/wirediagrams/75-engine-HEI.pdf (2/3 down the page), the "SUSPENSION AIR COMPRESSOR" circuit shows a 30 Amp breaker, (The large silver one that is in the left of fuse block behind the glove box). On the diagram, it shows down stream of the 30 Amp breaker the #14 brown wire going to the AIR COMPRESSOR (load) my old Dana Compressor.
ALSO, To the right of the breaker on the diagram, it shows a spur coming off the #14 brown above to another #14 brown then to a #12 Black wire labeled "FEED THROUGH CAPACITOR RADIO - RPO", then re-joining to the pressure switch and the AIR COMPRESSOR load.
I RE WIRED THE AIR COMPRESSOR to go on a new circuit with a RELAY and it's own 30 Amp fuse in front of the fire wall to the new Thomas Pump (See my prior post on wiring that was compromised due to excessive load): http://gmc.mybirdfeeder.net/GMCforum/index.php?t=msg&goto=233394&rid=1813#msg_233394
WIRING DIAGRAM QUESTION?: By permanently removing the large silver 30 Amp Fuse in the Fuse Block (Don't need it since I have a new Air Compressor Circuit), will this have any adverse affect on any other circuits? - such as the FEED THROUGH CAPACITOR RADIO -RPO (if this is indeed part of the circuit, I am not sure what it is)?
I am not that savvy on wiring diagrams, seeking advice from someone who knows how to read them better than I. - Clark
