I have those on all of my parked items with batteries. They are cheap but do occasionally fail. I have had two go bad over the years (low voltage). Right now I have 6 of them plugged in between home and airport.
I have another more expensive model on my airplane and of course the motorhome has the intelligent converter.
I never use to do my GMC engine battery all winter, but this year I installed my $1.00 combiner to keep it up also. I remade the combiner out of 18ga. fusible ling wire. Someone at the airport had a roll of it so I made a new 6" one.

I bought three of these when they were on sale years ago. One did nothing except light the LED, another seemed to work until it started draining the battery and the third is still in the blister pack.
I got a 2-1/2 digit monitor thing at a Black and Decker store years ago for about 2$. It has severed us well, but it ties up the mousehole and it doesn't like the multi-mousehole adapter.
